Since I'm having all these problems figuring out my fuel system I need an easier way to switch to 1 pump. I can leave the second pump on and put my stock belt back on but I'm getting tired of taking the rest of it off. Any idea's. I'd like to leave the lines on and just cap them if I could but not sure if that will work.

If you can get a couple of fittings to block off the high pressure lines, you can take the one high pressure line from the second CP3 off and block off where either end of it would normally connect. As long as the belt is off of it, you shouldn't have to disconnect anything else at all.

Besides unplugging the ppe harness

I have a cap that u can have that I used for the same thing, gimme a call and I can mail it to you as they r tough to find! I would not recomemd taking the fitting out very ofton as it wears the threads down .... I blew mine out fro
doing this so many times:cool:( perhaps just my luck) but as Josh posted u can simply put the stock belt on And remove the hard line that goes to the rail

I can also send some plastic cap for the hardline t keep the dirt out or you can just use smetinfoil or Saran wrap or tape since it wnt be pressurized

Call me when u can

I have some lines off my old motor that I was thinking of just tigging them closed. If I put one cap on top of the pump and then the other on the brass block I guess that should be fine. If not I will be calling you Simon. Thanks alot guys. I really want to get away of putting the race valve back in the rail. I had to get it so tight so it wouldn't leak that I had to pull the rail to get it out.

He should be able to run the truck with the PPE harness still plugged in. Since the belt will not be spinning the pump, it won't change anything with the rail pressure, and it should be able to control the single pump just like it would if both pumps were putting out pressure. As long as the supply and return are still hooked up, the regulator wouldn't be cycling dry. It would possibly help rule out any problems with the pump controller if he left everything on the electrical side still hooked up the same it is in the dual fueler configuration. I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work.

Thanks Josh I will try leaving the controller on. Hopefully someone can figure out my problem and I won't have to worry about it anymore.

Hmmm I've never tried. I geuss it wouldn't hurt to test it

I didn't have time to test it so I just unplugged it. I'm going to log some passses out on the road with it hooked up, Rob said it could give us some info if the controller is the problem. I took the high pressure line off from the CP3 to the brass block and I put some 14mm 1.5 pitch metal caps on and they held great at the pulls last night. Made it much easier and they work ed perfect. Thanks guys.
