So some of you saw I was "ditching the twins and possibly going another direction" with the limo. Well....... That was a fib. I could never give this big bitch up. I just decided I would buy a new s480 instead of waiting for the backing plate to get machined lol. Besides the whistle being quieter, I love this thing!

Today we had a dyno day out here and I put her up on it. It took quite a few times to dial the dyno in right and never really was right for the big tune but it was fun none the less.

She made 619hp on the tow tune at 40psi and 50% load (normally I see 50psi) and 747hp on the race tune at 35psi and 75% load (that saw 60psi on the street). All in 4th gear. The tow tune hp is pretty damn close, the race tune is on the low side but I'm very happy with it! By the time the turbos would finally come on, I'd run out of rpm. I so t think the dyno guy knew how to run it the best for diesels but fun either way!! I'll let Brian post his results.

Again, These are just DYNO numbers and I'm not oooooing and ahhhhhing over them. The track said I was 750hp on the I modded stock turbo and 475 with a bad trans and intercooler when I ran. I'll take a badge though please Kat/Rob :D

That's awesome. Honestly, did you ever think you'd have a 1000rwhp truck?!?!

I can remember when nasty girl was going for that & it was a long shot for most other enthusiasts. Now its a fairly common goal amungst built engine guys.

Congrats though. Very cool!!

All I wanted was 10 1/4 mile and 850rwhp. Blew right past both of those goals on a budget built engine. I am not going to be greedy anymore and have been eyeballing doing some 66/80 twins again. I loved those turbos.

Good to hear the turbo is working. Now you just need to get it to the track.
