What do the switches in the DVT part of the Scan Tool do and how do you use them properly? In particular, the AC Relay switch.

Thanks

When conncted to the vehicle you click activate and check mark the ac relay if that's what you want to use and it turns the relay on/off

I've seen Ted use it when diagnosing a ac problom

I only use the injector and fuel rail ones but they are handy
there is one for the fuel inj that will shut your truck off if you click it:D

dang. I did that simmon and I never noticed the AC clicking on & off. Was hoping that would "jump start" my AC. It holds a charge but won't blow cold. A friend says it might be the box thing-a-ma-jig behind the glove box is on the frits???

I also used the rail pressure thing to ramp it up and test the strength of my CP3. it held actual and desired within a few hundred all the wa to 24K. So a weak CP3 is no longer a viable excuse for my truck not running like it used to. Guess I just really need to getting around to putting a lift pump on this thing to get the top end pull back that it once had? Injector balance rates are all good with exception to one hoovering around 4.5-5.5. Pretty amazing with only stock fuel filtering and 170k miles. It does, however, need a fpr cause it surges at idle pretty good. That's really starting to get annoying.
