Flycut factory pistons? Is that common with other engines? Seems unusual to me. If starting from the drawing board, why not get clearance without flycuts???

Only thing I can think of is to keep compression higher but there are other ways to do that. Good question. I want to know what the deal is with the power wires (I assume) draped through the engine bay.

Looks like that feature may be cast into the piston. That cutaway motor could be a prototype so anything on it might not represent current design/production. What does the exterior look like? Did they do away with those goofy wheel well shapes (I hope)?

What is up with the red and black wires that look like they are just draped on the motor? Just something for the show or??

Do I see a timing belt that most people will completely forget about servicing??

The red and black wires are for their charging system. The lwn is 16.5:1 compression. Overall I liked it on looks. I want to drive one
