Duramax Roller Rockers?

I don't think I would shell out this kind of cash for rockers but it is step in the right direction.

It's always going to be like this for Dmaxes. Small production runs makes for high prices.

It's nice that we are seeing more and more mainstream hotrod mfrs making Dmax stuff, but the reason they are willing to do it is high profit.

But in the case of our valvetrain, it's 32v and bizarre. It's never going to that cheap to make a 32v roller rocker kit.

On average a small block has what 16 valves? 8 for the intake and 8 for the exhaust? So you can buy harland sharps for around 300 bucks so in theory the dmax roller rocker kit should be NO MORE than 1000 bucks more like 700. It makes sense to mmake a high profit on limited production but if you can make 16 rockers for 300 why cant you make 32 for 7-800??????

You dont have to make 32 just 16. Each rocker controls 2 valves.

Yes, but there is the bridge piece that needs to be made, so there has to be 4 pieces per cylinder. It's never going to be as cheap as a SBC even if they made a million of them.

I think its a great idea. If you look at the stock rocker the heat moves pretty far up I'm surprised we haven't had a problem with a rocker breaking . Just thinking out loud

You talking about where the tip is heat treated.

The rockers in the pics have not been drill and tapped yet for that factory adjustment studs. You reuse the adjustment studs and nuts out of your stock rockers.
