Will a regular gas chevy gauge cluster function correctly in my 01?

No, the tach is different and may not have a trans temp gauge, I have an 01 cluster if you need one.

I have a cluster but gauges are starting to stick. Should i just get it repaired? what about mileage if I bought yours?

The cluster I have has 136k I believe, you'd have to get it reprogrammed or do the math yourself and let the next owner know. Its up to you man. I think they are around 200 to repair the stepper motors, usually the 03+ clusters go bad though???

I know my Escalade cluster works ,only thing needed was a hole drilled for the WTS lamp. I don't believe anything was done to it for it to function.

You can ask Benwaballs (Duratothemax) he'd know.

Escalade clusters are gas so the tach functions correctly? If so Ill just buy a gas one with a temp gauge.

Try ebay. I picked mine up off of there. Just send the guy your info, he programs ya one, sends it to ya, then send yours back. Its quick and easy. I think I had $240 in it. $200 deposit til he gets the old one back.

Like I said I'm not 100% sure I bought it from a vendor. I've exchanged as much of my interior I could including the column shifter to Escalade.

I don't recall the vendor it was years ago
