The duraflight project has started. Yes the Trans is Pink. Not my choice. It is full manual valve body billet everything with a 2800 stall... Here are a few pics, I'm excited to get the year going.

Good to know Ken...I'm sure it will take practice, if not I'll do a pcs. What was the power level at that time?

Around 1200 hp, here is a video taken a couple months later with pcs. It's also the fastest and quickest pass for Max'd Out to date.

You can see how muck smooter the shifts are. Mind you Rob didn't have a shift light when he tried the manual and decided pretty quick that he could never do as good a job as the auto if set up right.

I'm running a manual VB in the El Camino and is easy to shift on time. Having the shifter in a good location will help with fast shifts. I think it'll work fine with some practice and does take out the tuning equation.

In racing, simple is always best.

Thanks Rob. I'm going to the track tomorrow to do some shake down passes. The new Hoosier radials look great, I'm hoping to get some 1.4 60' times.
