Ive done my fair bit of reading here about stroked and dual cp3's and some on lift pump's. Not enough to know of where the there is a huge advantage of a cp3 set up over a dual lift pump set up. Can some one fill me in as fuel supply is next on my list of mod's. I wouldn't mind spending the extra $$$ If could understand the benefits of a cp3 over a lift pump set up.

I would get a lift pump setup before a CP3, you gotta be able to feed the fire-engine with enough water for it to produce healthy output right! A single CP3 is enough if your keeping the stock turbo for now IMO. You can always mod the stock cp3 too. My truck for example...Even with rail psi dropping off from the injectors, i still can push more fuel than i can burn till the turbo gets upgraded. Hope this helps!
If you are planing on going with a bigger turbo then go with dual cp3's. Imho i would get a lbz cp3 and a lift pump. There is no need for dual liftpumps 1 single will push enough fuel for your turbo. Even if it was a bigger turbo
They serve two completely different purposes, a lift pump only supplies fuel to the cp3 to help maintain a supply of fuel to the injection pump (usually less then 10 psi), the modded or duel cp3's supply fuel to the injectors, to help maintain rail pressure ( usually 23,000 to 26,000psi). You really should have a lift pump before you need duel or modded CP3's, once you go the route of a modded CP3 or Duels, the life of the motor will start to be shortened (usually the rods first).
