Eventually going this route and have always leaned more towards the duel fueler setup's. Was just wanting to know what the pros and cons are of each and why the majority of people go the duel fuel route vs a modified single CP3. Thanks!

Reliability i think is the biggest factor. i know thats why i did mine. my valley pump has 177k, top pump has 112k. both hold 26k rail on 45 overs and 3k pw

I run twin cp3, no issues, have 105k on valley pump, top one has 5k miles. I hold 28,000 rail not sure what size my tune is but that's with 100% injectors

Are there any pro's to running a single modded pump? And if you do want to run a modded pump, who's is the best to go with? I just don't like the idea of running a pump off the belt.

Well, you keep the stock belt, you can run in sled pulling classes that have pump limits, and thats about all i got.

Exergy pumps are rumored to have the best reliability as far as single pumps go but also have a higher price than most modded singles as well as dual pumps. They have also failed like all other modded pumps...

I figured reliabilty wise was 1 of the biggest differences! Having 2 pumps do half the work each of 1 does seem quite the bit more efficient, especially longevity wise!

I really like my wicked pump maintains over 28k with my 40 overs on a 2600us tune, and has a lot left... i know my injectors flow as david made 844 with these exact injectors and a big single turbo, but i only went with a modded pump for pulling

%over pumps are to high strung in my oppinon. You can't beat 2 stockers churning away and when 1 goes out it's not a lot to replace it.

I have two modified pumps. When I first started sled pulling our local organization had a rule that you could only have one pump. So with bigger injectors came a bigger pump. Then when they went to PPL rules I bought a second modded pump because it was dirt cheap and brand new so I figured why not. But when either of these fail I will be replacing it with a stock pump.

How long have you been running your wicked pump? Ive read lots of good things about them. I would really like to keep the stock look of the engine bay and my stock pump is getting weak so I do need to replace it, just not sure what with.
