Nice! We got 21 Ducks and three snows today between three of us. We dont get many Honkers, just spec's and snows. Good part is, I've got 2K acres of land that was an old duck club my company bought for water rights. I can hunt 7 days a week (ducks, geese, Pheasent, Boar, Coyotees ect.) . It's open to full time employees, and there are only five of us that hunt:D.

I think that is the only thing that Pat misses about living on the dairy. He could stand outside our front door and shoot honkers.

I will behave and not post his duck pic

I invited a hunting buddy over to come shoot. He didn't show, so I took the picture to prove to him there were lots of ducks.

Those were all shot within 10 minutes. It was like being inside a popcorn machine. Ducks were like mosquitos.

Here was my first duck hunting trip ever a few days ago on Lake Mattamuskeet, NC. Total of 18 (few in freezer to get mounted) 14 on tailgate-3 widgeon and 11 green wing teal. I had a perfect shot at the one per season permitted goose but were too far away. Definitely much harder to shoot than skeet :D

Cool!! Ive always wanted to go duck hunting but theres no ducks here only geese and there protected by the state, Ive been hunting wild boars as long as I can remember and Ive been wanting to try something diffrent like that, Maybe we can set up a hunting exchange program!!:D

And if anyone hunts bears I would greatly appreciate some info on that, Ive been wanting to go to Canada for a while now to check that out

I've given hunting deer up for Elk, deer are no fun anymore. I'm not too sure about bear hunting, I dont want to become the hunted

The picture was taken on my gf truck with the geese she looked for that sticker for a long time.

I love the duck huntin there is nothing better also like to deer hunt but would do anything to hunt ducks. Here on the eastern shore of maryland we just about have everything you want to hunt. Its a great place to live in the middle of winter.

Hey pat thats a nice snow goose you killed.:D

Here is a video of my 4 year old choc. lab at work. I trained him myself. If you have the volume up when i call his name the first time i used a hand signal to make him go to the right. When we are in standin corn like that it is hard for him to see the ducks and this makes retrievin the ducks alot faster. He does very well for me, not the best by far but i am happy with him.
