I posted this in the wheels and tires spot but no ones biting so I'm gonna try here.

Maybe this has been asked before...I'm guessing it has BUT i cant find it SO. I'm looking to stick BFG a/t 285/75/16 or 17s under my truck. Its stock height I'm just gonna turn up the bars for right now. Does anyone have a picture of there truck with a setup like this? Or does anyone know what size spacer I need in the back? Also I see the NBS trucks run a 17" rim. Is that a direct bolt on for an 03' ? Sorry about all the questions...us noobies are kinna  thanks for the help guys.

285/75/16 are going to be really tight in the front even wiith the bars up. Sean's and my 07 are close with just 265s. My 02 rubs hard with 33's.

NBS wheel should bolt right up. Same Chassis as yours. Have Jill Borrow some for the weekend so we can find out for sure.

BigBlockBill ran 285s with luck but I beleive he used Cognito upper arms which add some clearence because of the relocated travel stop.

1 1/2" should work but 2" might be better. Problem with 2" is you will hang out. 1 1/2" Doesn't hang out but tires are a little close. You dont tow much so 1 1/2" should be fine.

thanks for the help JB. I saw a 2500 at Community with 285s on it and all he said he did was trim the bottom part of the bumper and turn up the bars. that's what made me think 285s would fit....but what do i know :D What about the rims? will the NBS work on our trucks? Id really like to switch to 17"s

NBS Wheels should bolt right up. Same truck as yours under the Body. Have Jill borrow a set for the weekend so we can find out for sure!:thumb:

I'm running 285/70/17's on my 02 with the bars cranked, and I don't rub, but then again I do have a Ranchand front bumper.
