What size fuel tank does your truck come with???

I assumed that because its a longbed, you get the 35?? gallon tank. Got a friend with an 05 dually that is sporting a 26 gallon though. Not sure which they're supposed to come with. He'd like to know if a big tank out of a long bed SRW truck will fit his dually.

Unless his guage is way the f*ck off, he puts about 22 gallons in when the needle is on E. Thats what I do in mine. Thats knowing that my fuel guage doesn't read completely accurate so his would have to be calibrated wrong or broke to be reading empty with 12 gallons still left in the tank.

Get him to measure the length of his tank, and then measure the length of your tank. If they are the same length, he has a small tank.
