Just installed a dual cp3 kit i picked up from a guy and its making a lot of noise at idle. The whole pump is vibrating at idle but the bracket is solid. I checked the fuel pressure and its right at desired like 5.5k at idle engine cold. The kit is the old style PPE LBZ/LMM style with an LLY/LB7 controller. No pressure relief valve race plug only. I started it up and walked away. Ill be back at in the morning if anyone has any suggestions on how to trouble shoot. I think im going to test fuel pressure from fass first thing. If its low ill change filters again.

Thanks for the help!

Mine has always vibrated, enough to crack the CP3 bracket. Welded it up and been running it. Has about 50,000 miles on it now

Okay got it figured out this morning. Just a little adjustment at the bracket straightened it up. i had to loosen the three screws, and tighten and torque the lower bracket bolt first, then the two upper ac bolts. Hope this helps someone in the future. it is very smooth now.

you may have to shim some of the attachment points at some point. ive had them be way off of center before and it causes the belts to get thrown left and right or cut belt ribs off.

take a straight edge and see how centered up it is.
