DTS Intercooler

I run a small diesel performance business in Georgia, and I have recently become a dealer of DTS. I'm not here to advertise my own business, but being that DTS is a supporting member I thought I would give credit where credit is due. We received one of their custom fabricated intercoolers this passed week and I must say it's a very high quality piece. It's going in a twin turbo, built motor LBZ and I have no doubts it will perform. Being that my specialty is in mechanical engineering and design, I thought I'd post up some of the 3D renderings that I made of this bad boy for DTS. David at DTS is a good guy and really helped me out by knocking this intercooler out during the week of Christmas to keep us moving forward. Here's a few pics for y'all to drool over... For the money you can't beat this intercooler...regardless of price I think it's better than others you would pay $300+ more for. It's really that nice.

Pretty cool, is it a workable model? IE you did flow/thermal FEA on it?

No, this model was simply made for visual renderings. However, if I had the details of the internal structure of the DTS intercooler, and also the internal details of the stocker, I could run FEA on the flow and thermal properties to give a good representation of what one could expect in real life. In most cases I see results from my FEA that come within 5% of real world tests...so I'd be very confident in my findings if DTS asked me to complete one, along with a complete test report.
