Help: DTC P0106 diagnostics

*Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I couldn't figure out where to put it.

My 2001 K2500 Silverado (6.6 Duramax/Allison) just threw a P0106 code. I did a search for P0106 and found a page on diagnostics for this but all of the links to the GM pages with the actual diagnostic info wouldn't work because I'm not authorized. How does one use these pages? If the pages are only for authorized GM service people how do I go about diagnosing the P0106 DTC? I'm new to the forum so please let me know how to find this information if it's here.

I did find that page before when I did a search but I don't have the equipment mentioned in the steps. All I have is an OBD reader and a volt meter. I guess I'll have to take it to the shop.
