been trying to learn more and more about tuning. This is my first crack at a tune, and a dsp5 for my truck. I hate to admit but i was using one off the library and i really didn't like it. I wanted to start from scratch but there's so much coming all at once it's hard to grasp everything you need to know. Everything i've done in this tune i read off of the forums and trying to understand what each thing meant. I would really like some more help on this.

Truck is a 2006 lly, afe cold air intake, snow performance methanol injection, Fass 150 titanium, PPE Race valve and bored fuel rail fitting, BD driver side manifold, afe 3" ceramic downpipe, pcv reroute, resonator delete, 4" straight pipe, NADP Race transmission, napc transfer case, cognito traction bars, yukon grizzly full locker rear diff

For my dsp5 it goes

Position 1: Stock other then the maximum vane change for the turbo brake
Position 2: Economy, well what i understood to be economy by reading online
Position 3: Towing with turbo brake
Position 4: i tried something didn't like it so got rid of it. Nothing in this spot
Position 5: Street tune

For right now what i'm experiencing that concerns me is

position 2: i find that it is using too much fuel for what i thought would happen. I tried to advance the timing, reduce the boost, and increase pulse width to help give a cleaner burn. 50/5 btdc

Position 3: Doesn't have as much low end grunt as i want. I want to start off with baby steps. The turbo brake doesn't seem to slow down hardly, and when it kicks in, the boost stays flat, doesn't go up like i thought it would when you close the vanes up that much. timing increased in mid range(as per tutorial)

Position 4: Was a fail so no need to look there, i got rid of it.

Position 5: Has smoke down low when getting on the throttle, then cleans up a bit then its under load and seems to have the diesel injection sounds more pronounced. Doesn't seem to have enough air/fuel for when my methanol kicks in. I have used the timing calculator for 50/50 btdc.

I have been trying to make a couple logs, but i'm not sure what exactly i'm looking for, mainly i was watching my timing. I'm extremely uneasy on increasing it right now as i am not comfortable going in such large steps like the calculator did everything for me, and i'm still at square one why and how it did.

I'd love for people to give a hand on this. And if need be, i would pay someone to teach me how to tune my truck better.

I have attached the tune in a zip file. It is a ctz format so it wouldn't let me upload it. Hopefully you guys can open it and look at it.
