dsp5 switch help

i am trying to install my dsp5 switch with my efi live and i cant get it to work when i put the pins in my truck, it wont cut back on and my compressor on my air conditioner wont cut on either when my truck finally cuts on. and i have searched all over these forums and every one has a black and grey wire mine has a purple and black wire. the instructions that came with the switch say purple 32 and black 50 if any of you guys or gals with efi live could help that would be awesome cause i dont know what else to do thanks. also my truck is an 05 lly

The colors don't matter so much as where they go does. You need to take the two wires coming off the switch, and run them to the grey connector (there is a blue, black and grey), and put one wire in position 32, and the other in 50 as you already know. The other thing you need to check is make sure in your DSP tune, you have to make sure A0146 is set to "hardwired" not "serial"; if it's set to "Serial", it'll ignore teh switch entirely.

thanks ill make sure its hardwired
