I'll be ordering my EFI w/ 5 tunes from Rob on Monday. I already have a lockable DSP5 switch. After reading the product release for the Insight CTS, I see I will be able to control my 5 tunes by just changing a setting on the CTS.

The ? is, do I already have to have the DSP5 hardwired to be able to do this or am I able to flash my tunes in and use them straight from the Insight?

The reason I ask is b/c i had already planned on getting the insight when it became available and if possible, I can avoid drilling a hole for the DSP switch.

On 2001-2005 LB7 and LLY Duramax engines you can now change the power levels on-the-fly created by your EFILive™ custom tuning software with your Edge Insight CTS! Simply use your EFILive™ software to change your DSP5 Switch Type from “hard wire” to “serial”.

You won't even need a switch.
