A customer picked up a couple dsp switches from duramaxtuner.com
one for an lb7, 2 lly's. the lb7 has no throttle respone in positions 2 and 3, the llys have nothing in position 2. i logged all 3 trucks and the dsp voltage is correct and the pcm switches to the correct tune.
1 lly was reading 3.48, the tune was set to the default of 4.0v for position 2.
so voltage was less than 4.0v but greater than 3.0v so it read dsp#1= dead pedal. i changed the voltage to 3.50 and now had throttle response but in the log it read non dsp when i switched to pos 2. i changed the voltage to 3.7 and back to dead pedal. what is causing this ? 3 trucks same issue ? what am i doing wrong and/or missing ?

Yeah he's never seen or heard of it. Didnt really care to hear what i had done to diag it. Not his tune. Not his problem. On my own to find this one out.

I would check to see if your o.s. version of your tune is the same as the stock file. I had one do this exact same thing. I had different versions and dead pedal. I went to the same version and it lit up like it should. Good luck.:thumb:

Not sure I get what you mean? I pulled his stock file and and upgraded it to dsp, made my changes and now dead? Tbiq is the same in 2 other tunes on the switch that work fine.

His switches SUCK, buy them from SoCal Diesel and you won't have sh:eek:tty customer service and actually get a product that works.

Yeah, I hear ya very different from the nick that helped me when I first started messing with this stuff a few years ago. But I don't think its the switch. The log shows the voltage change and it go to each dsp position

I have had it happen before , never could fix it the last time it happened no matter what i tried , re did the tune as a single ( copy and pasted the tables from the DSP tune ) got it dialed in perfectly then converted it to a DSP 5 and it was fine , i think some times the conversion or the script can go hay wire , I have seen it only a few times on LB7 and LLY .
