I'm trying to learn about dsp2, with the switch off u load your base tune which has the dsp2 OS that has the cali mods, then when u flip the switch on, it reads the cali mods. Is that basically it or am I way off, I'm trying to change the tunes for my friend he just bought the truck an the switch worked so I'm just trying to learn how to tune it. thanks

yeah with the switch off it would be the base tune. all paramiters can be changed. with the switch on only certain paramiters can be changed. they are under efi live custom calibrations. the on position will use base parameters for the tables that cant be changed

What exactly are you trying to accomplish with it? I'd be more than happy to help you out if you need it. I've got a couple of good safe tow tunes that I run that have EGT's that are cooler than stock, and spool in nicely. They're onlyu about a 30-40HP tow tune though, but this will keep it stock trans safe.

EDIT: I took a look at that tune, and the DSP side is way to hot for a tow tune IMHO.

I was just won't to make sure that i had the setting right for the switch to work, I know I'll have to tweak the cali's just checking to see if I did it right, not so much the tune itself just the dsp2 part, Thanks Ferm

I didn't change anything on the base tune, just put in what should be a pretty stout tow tune. It can be made hotter, but this should get yeah enough fuel to have to watch the EGT's pretty closely with much of a trailer. And I only went 50% with the timing.
