the ecm is below the tcm which is on the driver side between the battery and fan shroud. its easier to get to by removing the tcm first.

or you can open up any of your tuning files, go to the help tab, then tutorial, then dsp upgrades for the same instructions, and they are in color.:D

Thanks :D I guess that is why I'm not the techie in the family

those directions are great but it doesnt say which color wire goes were. which connector takes the blue wire which takes the black wire what is the output wire about and does the wire with the eyelet just get grounded? Or does each application only use either the blue or black wire. As i said my switch has 2 black wires one with pin one with eyelet and a blue wire with pin also one pin is shorter than other?

the black wire with the pin goes to pin hole # 1 on the blue connector on the ecm. The black wire with a pin is "NOT" used.just tape it up. I dont remember the other black wire with the eyelet, but if I was guessing, that would be a ground wire, just ground it as normal.

only one wire goes into the ECM for a dsp switch llys and lb7s are different

the other shorter wire is for ground

DSP output is optional and not needed for DSP 2 or 5 to work

i just read the instructions for DSP 2 upgrade
why do they show hooking a ground for dsp 2 in the ECM?
i only used 1 wire and one ground under the dash

is it different now?

Instructions are a little vague, I guess since we got ours installed we can't see any problems........ I figured installing my traction bars would be a snap, but guess what, they're being put on at the shop right now, and would you believe I got a GM Dealer doing it.
