I am wanting to get EFILive, but have a question on a DSP5 switch. I see some retailers offer a DSP5 switch kit. Are they only selling the acutal switch and wiring? So if I buy the regular EFILive ($749), I can add my own switch and wiring any time? Just wanted to see if I had to decided on a DSP5 switch when ordering or not. Any information would be great.

Thanks
Chris

EFILive comes with the software for DSP2 or DSP5. You can make your own switch or buy one at any time.

you will want it:D. it is a very nice feature. but what year truck do you have. they currently do not offer any switchable software for the 06 and up ecm's. they are working on a switchable setup, but it is still in beta testing and looks to be a little time before public release.

In the coming weeks we will be testing our switchable tunes via FlashScan V2. For LB7 and LLY users this will give 2 options on how to switch - either install the switch into your truck or plug your V2 into your truck and use the menu options to switch tunes.

For those who have both V2 and a switch; both options will work on your truck - it will just be the same set of tunes with different methods of switching.

FlashScan V1 isn't capable of this functionality, so LB7/LLY owners with V1 will need to install a switch or upgrade to V2.

Cheers

THanks for the replies. I've got an '05 LLY. So it sounds like one option is that I can use a 5 position switch wiring into the ECM to change tunes.

Thanks

Nothing - when it's released it will be a free software/firmware enhancement. You'll just need to have FlashScan connected and then use the menu buttons on V2 to toggle between your tunes.
