DS up-pipe removal

I cant sem to get to the bottom up pipe bolt on the drivers side anybody got any suggestions...tried everything that worked before but the heat shield on the up pipe seems to be in the way or somthing cant get a socket on it again :confused:

yeah i got a wrench on it from the top but only had like .5" to move it and couldnt break it loose...all the others came out without trouble

i had to take my heat shield off to get mine off. The LMM is just plain nasty to reach back there with the overhang and the coolant line running along the up pipe.

yeah they suck for sure I think im just gonna unbolt the heat sheild some and beat it back enough to get in there...or just pull it and leave it off wonder ifit would hurt anything

I'm not running any heat shields or heat pad on my firewall, but I'm also not running anywhere near a hot tune...

There is no way to put the heat shielding back on if you go with after market up pipes anyways. Mine have been off for a while and never caused any problems.
