Was bored last night and went driving around to all the dealerships. The Ford dealership had 1 ECLB White 6.7 Powerstroke. I hopped out of my truck for 15 seconds to look at it and a salesman came out and asked if wanted to take it for a spin (how could I refuse?). Ford has really stepped their game up all around. The interior was very nice even though it was a Lariat and not the highest end trim. The gauge/information center was really cool with everything that it shows. I started it up and damn it was quiet. Driving it around it had good power and there was absolutely no turbo lag. I was impressed honestly. Only had 30 miles on it I believe. :violin:

Anyone else driven one?

Curious, how much was the sticker for the truck you drove. How quiet is it compared to your truck if it were stock and how was the noise when driving it?
For example my truck when I am at my cruise speed (not on the throttle or braking/down shifting) my truck is very quiet, in fact most folks do not even know it is a diesel truck.

I was a ford guy until the 6.0/6.4 crap hit. Use ford diesels at work, one of the reasons was the noise factor of ford vs gm that I went with my truck along with the cab comfort and price and of course the reliability factor we had new trucks that were in the shop more than they are on the road and are much harder to fix vs the ol 7.3.
Ford was really proud of the truck when I was looking got a truck with the options I wanted for much cheaper in my truck vs the ford of the same options pkg.

I think ford has lost a lot of market share and for example, me and has a long and arduous road ahead to bring the folks back into the fold of ford from where ever they went.

I will probably never go back to ford, just due to the cost factor alone, unless my current truck becomes unusable for whatever reason and I am sure I am not alone in this thought process and then the war for the dollar is on again.

Sticker was 54k I think? They had it for sale for 48k though. It's quieter than my truck when it was stock from an interior stand point, I wasn't outside the truck while it was running. I had the radio off the whole time and unless I was listening for the motor while accelerating I could barely hear it. I didn't like the shift from 1st to 2nd though. It felt like the TC was locked if it were an Allison.

It also rode incredibly smooth. Smoother than my truck but of course I have 22's with a 55 series tire  So that's not much of a comparison.
