It will look like this but has EGT on the left and Boost on the right, 1800 deg and 50 psi max's. I guess you can program them to have warning lights at certain values, it can recall highest values, and it has touch screen capability. It should

Tranny is great!

Sounds like some happy shopping

I might have to order me one of those :cool2: I just have a boost gauge because of my useless sunroof.

Not I would use it  Gauges scare me

But in case we tow with Wendy. McRat will need it :p

Here's the guauge in the box. It's gonna be sweet when it's installed.

After you get a 12v source on it you plug it into a computer with the supplied cable and program all of the max's, warning lights and dimming control. That's right, it auto dims based on ambient light. It also has a ground lead so you can hook up an alarm to go off when a limit is exceeded.

The one thing that is a bit of a drag is it doesn't come with a boost tap or tube. It has a digital 4-bar sensor that you have to plumb a boost source into.:( I'm thinking of running some braided NO2 line from the SD manifold to the 4-bar (alla BMDMAX). It will cost a bit more but should look cool, and make people wonder if I'm really running the juice.:D

Hope to start on it next weekend, too much stuff in the coming week.

Thats sweet!!!! I like it better than my SPA (which is going on my steering column). :dissappointed: Is it comparable in price to the SPA?

It's All Done!

This weekend Ecc_33 and myself sucessfully installed all of the items that were listed above.

lift pump/extra fuel filter, cognito braces, bilsteins, and the MSD gauge.

I still need to polish up the steering column gauge mount install. The gauge pod is for a 99-01 and it has been a PITA to get it to fit and still look halfway decent. Hopefully, I'll get it finished up by the end of the week and have pics or video of the gauge. Actually, it will have to be video because pictures will not do it justice.

I really like having the gauge on the steering column and it really doesn't block anything but the last 1/4 of the DIC and speeds over 100 mph. I just wish Autometer would have made a mount that worked better with the 02+ steering column.
