I decided to go a different route on my truck. I got a amber bulb and replaced the clear bulbs. I don't know if this is possible on the NBS trucks or not. Might be something to consider instead of totally shutting them off.

Nope, head lights double as the DRLs. Pulling the DRL fuse just keeps them from coming on during the day.

I don't understand why anyone would want to disable DRL's. Probably one of the best safety features for other drivers on your truck-especially in crappy winter weather.:confused::confused::confused:

x2!!! I used to think they were annoying, but there have been countless times that I have avoided pulling out in front of someone, or t-boning someone on back country roads when its misty etc because of DRL's... I think they are the best idea ever and should be standard. Having the headlights double as DRL's is kind of annoying, but definitely vehicles should have a feature like the GMT-800's, smaller dedicated DRL bulbs.

cant you just turn your light switch to the left, that cuts mine off:confused:

Not in Canadian destined trucks you can't. This is because DRL's have to be on by law here so they designed it so you can't even turn your headlights off at night. It's auto, park lamps, or headlights on-that's it.

Only way to shut them off is to start the truck with the parking brake on. I'm assuming the LMM's in the US got this feature as well.

the LMM is
H11 Low beam
9005 High beam
5202 Fog
