I have mine lowered, keys turned out and 2" shackle in rear with overload and 1 leaf removed. I swapped from a 2pc to a 1 over the weekend. Test drove just fine Saturday and Sunday. This morning I threw my rims and tires in the box and headed to work. Found out quickly that the 1pc now rubs on the mount for the hanger bearing for the 2pc. When I installed it seemed to have enough clearance, but being on an incline and blocking the rear tires must have pushed the rear up some. Can I just cut that mount OFF the cross member. Id hate to cut the whole member out for obvious reasons. But I don't want to cut the mount off the member only to find that it still doesn't clear and I'm SOL because I no longer can put my 2pc back in. On the other hand id hate to put that POS 2pc back in. Anyone else have this same issue?

Yes, cut that thing off. Gm calls for the removal with their one piece swap TSB. I cut mine off with an angle grinder and cut off wheel. You want to leave the member but cut out the mounting bracket as close to the member as you can.
