Definitely do a DS dipstick if you get the chance. Makes life a lot easier on the PS of the engine.

I need a ds trans tube also. Who sales these? Will the same dip stick work or need a new one? Or will a kodiak ds work better?. Will I still have to relocate the glowplug box?

Get one from Chevy for a 2011 model truck. You cut about 6.25" off with a tubing cutter and there you have one. They are pretty cheap too. Wholesale pricing is about $15.00.
