Drinking buddies

Anyone ever have a guy that they like to drink beer with. And does that guy ever bring some other idiot around. Like tonight I was drinking a beer with a buddy from college station and he had one of his other buddies with him. Well this guy apparently has a '94 12v that has a 5spd ,390 marine injectors, and twin turbos. He then throws out that he ran a 10.1 or some crap like that. So being the smartass I am and catching on to his bs. I said hell let's go for a ride. Btw I had only had about 1 beer an hour so I was fine. We go for a ride and the dude says man this truck would smoke mine and so I smirked back and said "no way it only runs a 13.8 in the quarter". Anywho anybody else have to put up with crap like that when you drink a few brews with guys you never met before.

Ya I have it depends on my mood if I bust there bubble or not. But there not as bad as the guys I would always meet in socal that knew everything. The more they drank the more they knew and the more everyone from the south (me) was just a dumb redneck.

At my former 2nd job, we finished our work and cracked open some suds, just shootin the breeze and some unprovoked burnouts and quad doughnuts:rofl: And one of our local cocky cumminGs kids shows up (was a diesel shop). And most of the other guys there are cummins boys but not really into going fast and big power. Anyhow, they all pretty well know my truck and wanted a ride....OK....:D (I hadnt' drank a whole beer yet;) ) So the boys pile in and letem feel the Dmax wrath, they were dead silent followed by alot of "wholly sh!t's" and so on and my truck isnt that wicked. So the CumminGs kid starts off about his VP44 24V, "its got injectors, bigger turbo, exhaust, Superchips, bla, bla, bla" and ive seen him rollin coal and making alot of noise. I sad, ok line em up!......and HE stated, his TPS sensor is jacked up so it may not go when he floors it....Ok well if it does stumble we can try again, he says nah, ill get a new sensor first....:spit::spit::spit:

me and a buddy with a 7.3 were bsing when this tool rolls up in a grand prix and starts talking smack when i tell him to race me he says "i dont race trucks thats just stupid"

i hate people with big mouths that cant back it up

bad around here is the young high school kids with their fart can mufflers on there honda civics and ricer cars.. i had a kid and his SMOKING HOT girlfriend pull up to me in a civic with a HUGE wing on the back and gauges and all that b.s.. so i revved at him and he showed me he wanted to race.... only took about 3 gears and a cloud of black smoke to leave him behind!!!

Watch out for those Evo's and WRX Sti's, they're pretty fast stock, modded even faster. My roommates got one of each and it sucks racing them on the street because they get way better traction than I can even in 4hi.

I don't mess with those guys normaly but if i'm provoked, then yes I will play. I know what those cars can do and respect them as being "non-ricer". The kids I got yesterday on the other hand, 100% ricer, BS hatch back honda POS to the core. He was bouncing the rev limiter ever 3 seconds and downshifting when we would come to a trafic light (from 2nd to first:thumb:). Keep in mind that I live in a small town and the speed limit is 25. I had enough and decided to drop down to his level for a good laugh.

if there was a 10sec diesel in college station i would know it. there are a few very fast trucks here though.
