Mark the wheel/tire with a paint marker to see if they spin on the wheel any. I ran 24 front and around 16 rear. I really didn't get to run them much but low 1.6 were easily achievable. Funk has went in the 1.4x's numerous times on them

I bought some wheel screws from summitt racing for the m and h nostalgia slicks, but im 2wd. I just put steel valve stems in today, have not done the wheel screws yet. Ive seen beadlocks and wheelscrews on gassers, dont know whats better but they both work. Im sure beadlocks are better but screws are alot cheaper.

In my drag car building days I use to tell people to start at 25 psi. Do a dry hop.

If the center of the black mark on the pavement is darker than the sides then let out a couple of pounds. If the center is lighter then add a couple.

Continue to do this till you get a full consistent shade of rubber on the pavement. At that point you can't get any better.:thumb:

Thanks for the input. I bought a set and will be giving it a try when I get the truck back together.

Will be making my first pass on the 30x14x16's this weekend. Max pressure on mine are 1400lbs at 20psi, for some reason I thought they were 2000lbs on the set Newly let me use, could be wrong.

Have 21psi in front and 17 in the rear.
