Has anyone done it, looking for some oppinions good, bad, safe, unsafe? If there no good for drag racing ill have to put in my wifes truck for sled pulling!
Right off the eaton box, first paragraph:
20mph, 100mph, whats the difference?
It says that it can be deactivated via switch while vehicle is in motion
So you could switch it off after launching,No? or is it like the 4x4 switch and wont disengage untill we are low speed or let off the go pedal?
Pat would know, he's running one and prolly tried it at speed.
I have ran mine with a locker up to about 130mph once and let off... I'll never do it again.
I wonder if GM intended for 4X4 to be used at 130mph on asphalt?
This may be part of the reason why my truck is in the hospital with a grinding front end when in 4wd
I sure wish GM had a better system to tell a guy when his diff was engaged and when it isn't. Mine said it was in 2wd according to the lights but it wasn't. And now it's hurt. A ball detent style switch would make me happier!!
