When I ran last fall after I built the trans I hit a 12.8 at 104. I had a bad 60ft and only got to run once. That was on completely stock fuel and air besides a lift pump

I know everyone raves about these modified stock VVT turbos, but twins are on a whole different level. Lots of trucks with just trans, tuning, lift pump, and twins running low 12s, high 11s. I did it back in '07 with my LBZ.

That's because they drop in and with fuel will put a crew cab into the mid 11's without a issue. I love twins but the modified VVT's of late hold there own just fine.

I don't have very good tires for racing and I was spinning. I really don't feel like my converter was locking up right way either. The track was also really cold like 55 degrees. Everyone was fighting traction. My next street legals night is June 24th so I should have some better times then

Im guessing you're running the tires in your sig? We have cut the best 60s with just PYOs. I run 245/75/16 right now and haven't had issues yet.

Yeah with fuel they can come alive. Dan weaver with the 68 danville made 750 on my dyno and did some mid/low 11s in his ext. cab!

I'm looking forward to how this single Danville 68 does in Levi's reg cab built engine truck. It's gunna be a fast/fun truck when we turn it up next week

Yes it will be fun! This is what it did on a junkyard motor in my truck with 12mm CP3 and 250%inj. on fuel only and it made 780hp. It didn't hurt the motor, all the rods were still perfect when we took it apart last month! I have my built motor back in with it on same fuel setup and made 817hp 1504ftlbs so I am hoping to see hi 10's with it.:thumb:

I didn't mean that as a slight toward the VVT trucks. I was simply saying that comparing his truck to the other guy's truck with twins isn't exactly a fair comparison. I know a lot of guys are doing very well with single VVT tubos, but it generally takes more than just a turbo to see the gains.

I know, I got plenty of videos from you when you took her home the night after we talked about suspension lmao. That's 90% of the reason I pushed Levi for this turbo. I know it's going to be an awesome setup even at 7k feet elevation

Well... A Danville stage2r we tune on a LML just went 11.46@120 tonight. The best to that has been 11.5s. These 2r chargers are nothing short of impressive - I'll say that. I have one to stick in the compound setup on mine.

Curious as to how much alignment effects 60'..

Will a truck that's properly aligned at lowered height cut a better 60' than the identical truck that's had the torsions let down at the track?

Actually, a truck properly aligned for the track/truck setup will perform better than either
