Drag classes

I have a zf6 duramax lbz and lly, and wanted to start drag racing legally :thumb: and wanted some tips or any thing I should do on my first pass down a track I got traction bars drag radials, ect. was cuirious to know how the classes work cause I don't wanna be in the high classes where it becomes a game of buying Big ponies thanks guys!

You need to take it to the track and see how fast it is/u can make it go with that handshaker 1st off.. And can u fill out ur sig please so we can see what engine mods u have?

i have heard a second gear start in 4x4 was a good idea

If u go to the NHRDA website they give u a rundown on the rules for how fast ur truck is,same as NHRA rules

As said I would def go to a track atleast once maybe twice and get a baseline to see where you stand and how to launch your specific truck before you jump into anything serious... Then like Ryan said jump on nhrda website in which has all your classes!
