thanks guys. just wondering about putting either a straight pipe or hollowing out the dpf. i dont drive more than about 7-8 miles one way. truck has been telling me to continue driving for awhile now. i drove it about a 100 miles on a trip and it still has the power derated. there are not any dealers close. thanks

I think you are better off getting a gas rig for that type of driving. diesels need to be run hard and long to keep them happy. running the engine cold contributes to increased soot and moisture in the oil, coking on the injectors, and other issues.

gas engines are better suited for short trips. we don't support illegal modifications to emissions systems
