I have a friend with a lmm and he is putting turbo back exhaust with no dpf.
the question is , can he drive it for a while until I'm able to efi the dpf out of his truck. is it bad to run the truck or will it just throw a code.

some run ok for a bit some dont. its a kinda crap shoot the quicker you can get it tuned the better

He had to drive an hour in limp mode. 55 mph on the highway is no fun.

He was a farmer, I think he expected me to crawl under the hood and start turning screws. I told him to take it for a test drive and he was like 'that's it?'

"whoa! I thought it was quick before."
