I haven't hollowed one, but you will still have to deal with codes and the ecm because it will try to regen by itself if it hasn't completed a successful regen in the last couple hundred miles.

Im running a banks iQ, does not have dpf deletion capabilities. Was wondering if i purchase an EFI Live, unplug Banks iQ, perform the dpf deletion, and then re-plug the banks iQ back in, would this work? Also what EFI Live would you recomend?
Thanks
Stephen

That would work, all you would need to do is program for a dpf delete. EFI Live is all the same you will need a V2 Flashscan.

The only differences are whom you buy it from. Depending on which vendor you buy from they will offer you 1 or more tunes and some will offer tow tunes, race tunes or tunes from mild to wild.

If all you want EFI Live for is to take care of the codes, then you would save some $ by just paying someone local to flash your truck for the dpf delete. only.
