I just picked of a 2008 gmc and recently purchased a mbrp filter back exhaust for it and haven't put it on yet but from talking to a few people about it they are saying it doesn't change the sound and performance much so I was thinking about the dpf delete kits what are your thoughts and or suggestions on that ?

I deleted cat and dpf then blocked the egr purchased efi live tuning by atp trucks but left the stock muffler.
It's only marginally louder but noticeable but that's what I wanted.
I didn't want a nasty Azz drone.

Go for it. I deleted everything including the muffler and my 08 doesn't have a drone. You will be okay.
