I see your in Utah as well. The Danville 72 is kind of a dog at this altitude unless you have some fuel to throw at it. Going from stock injectors in my truck to my 30% overs made a night and day difference.

I always thought you needed 45%+ for Mark's 72.

Not really...the more fuel you throw at it the better but my 30's made a big difference. I wish I had the motor for dual fuelers so I could turn it up a lot more. I'm on a 2000us tune and made 602 horse with it.

why would they stop making them?

There is no real gain in adding a VNT to an LB7 and a lot of unnecessary work to make it fit. Especially when something as simple to swap as a S366 will support as much HP as a 72 VNT, run cooler, and typically have just as good throttle response. Plus the controller WAS priced, as its no longer available and will not be offered, at $925. So its not cost effective either. :thumb:

Yes the controller was very high priced. I do love the way it sounds but looking back if I had to do it again. I would have went with a different route but since I already have the controller and everything I just keep building off that platform. My only complaint would be not having the brake feature. That would be really nice to have when pulling a load.
