LLY: Down pipe question

I see there are tons of down pipes for the Lly lbz lmm.. Are there really better flow and more hp out of different ones or are they all the same.. Also I'm looking to buy one so if anyone has one for sale let me kno thanks

What are your mods? They dont seem to add much if any power to mostly stock trucks. Now if your straight piped I would do one just to get rid of the scalded cat sound of the stock turbo.

I did mine purely for sound. It was a sucky job but worth it IMO. I went with a PPE one because it's stainless and I deal them.

They have to flow better than the stock ones, the stocks are pretty flat.only thing ive heard they really help with is the EGT'S dropping quicker.

That being said when i put a straight pipe exhaust on my truck, i put one on as it was only 100-120$ or something, got mine from ProFab , i would highly recommend, pipe fit good and customer service was awesome

x2, go stainless. DHD had the PPE downpipes on sale $135

I had a Profab pipe before, and fitment was good, can't complain there. But it started to rot out on the bottom flange/weld, thanks Ohio!
