Getting a set of Hutchinson Double beadlocks that are street legal and was curious if anyone had any input about them as I've never ran them. Don't have them in my possession yet but does anyone know what width they are? They're the 16" ones that'll fit our 8 lug pattern. Google seems to say 10" wide but not completely sure as you can't find a lot of info about them. Thanks in advance.

Never run them either, but wouldn't the width change depending on the thickness of the tire bead? I'd think you could measure how thick the bead is, and add that to the width of the wheel center. I bet those things are heavy too...
Should be pretty sweet though!

Those are 10" wide. Sorry i didnt text ya back yet tony. Ive never seen anyone run them nor heard of them. What is the load rating on them? After runnin a set of walker evans true bead locks on my last truck, i wont run them again. Plus most tire places wont work on them, dot appoved or not

oh dont get me wrong, they do look sweet! i just didnt know if they were built ot handle the weight of our trucks. Sounds like they are good there though. Beadlocks are concidered a 2 peice wheel and most tire shops feel they are too dangerous to work on in a shop. Its BS if you ask me cause id take a beadlock over a reg wheel, its jsut a pain when you get a flat traveling and no one will fix your tire for you. i buy my tires from discount tire and they wont touch them. id talk to some shops and see who will work on them. if you find a few that wont charge an arm and leg id buy them :D

good news....I plan on carrying a PYO and 285 spare just in case as these are 16x10 wheels that are 8x6.5 lug pattern so I'm fairly comfortable that something like that would be okay for our trucks. Didn't realize tire shops wouldn't work on them though....I'm looking to go to 315/75s and was worried about the PYOs being way too narrow to run them therefore this solves that problem. Just curious how they balance...I know I saw Pat's truck yesterday with them on it and damn it looked good.
