02 Crew cab. Shifting my truck into park and the door locks no longer open on their own. In fact, gear indication on dash does not change with selection. What gives?
PS - Otherwise truck drives fine.

sounds like a possible nsbu switch. when u shift out of park does your indicator light stay on or off, or just not move? do u have a diy high idle installed? if so and it doesnt work then this could be the problem. i think your door locks dont move automatically because ur truck doesnt know its in park. im no expert but i went through this kind of thing about a month ago or so. let me know if i can help.

Well the update to this is unfortunatly it not going away. The truck no longer goes to "D" rather it just seems to sit in "3" giving me a blistering 45mph before redline. From what I've read it does sound like the nsbu. We'll see in 2 business days.....
