alright so, having a wiring issue somewhere I believe, I first noticed that the dome lights were staying on after I closed the doors, and so have to press that dome light kill switch on the dash to keep them from draining my battery. yesterday while driving if I touched the front window controls my dome light would click on and it would say driver door ajar and the locks would be going on off on off thinking that the door was open when it was shut. I took the door off, took the actuator out and cleaned it up good with some brake clean and then some silicone lube after. no broken parts it seems to be working fine. and now the dome lights still stay on when I close my doors. it doesnt say driver door ajar or anything it just doesnt turn the dome lights off. so since the wires from the door lock actuator go into the door lock / windows switch first could that be the problem? or is it most probably just a bad actuator? it's strange because if it thought the door was open it would say driver door ajar, but it doesnt say that, just that one time yesterday but after the clean its fine. so whatever tells the dome lights to turn off thats the problem but where is that switch? same place?

around the same time my factory truck alarm would go off randomly and when I clicked the lock button 2 times it would honk the horn. now when I click the lock 2 times it doesn't honk the horn and I don't think the truck alarm works at all anymore, I locked it while in my truck, waited 30 seconds then popped the truck and opened the door from the inside and no alarm. so there seems to be some wiring problem with that also. maybe it's all tied together? just hoping someone has had this problem before and fixed it haha thanks guys.

update

so, the part I have circled in red, if I unplug that one the dome lights work as normal, but with that unplugged the radio also stays on. it also doesn't say door ajar ect. so I see on rockauto I can replace just the top part which is the other picture. which only has 2 plugs on it so Ill have to re-use the old plug that goes on the very top. anyways its $25 compared to $200 for a full assembly so Ill try that out
