I'm just curious, adding additives like XPD Opti-Lube or PS Diesel or Howes, 2-stroke oil, or whatever else; do some, most or all of these additives get filtered back out by small micron filtration?
Stock rates are around 10 micron, but most aux/replacement filters folks are putting on are closer to the 2 micron mark. I see some of these filters are black when opened up and it got me wondering how much of that is "crap" filtered out of the fuel and how much is additives getting removed?
It would kinda suck to spend the time and effort to get/use additives only to find out they are getting filtered right back out!
