Dodge V6 ecodiesel?

Hey guys. Its been a while.

A coworker just purchased an extended cab Dodge 1/2 ton with a V6 Ecodiesel. He said that it is faster than any truck he has ever been in. I might add that he has never ridden in my truck.

I can't find much on these new Dodge Ecodiesels, but it appears to be a mid 16 second truck. Am I missing something?

I think most people could peddle a bike faster than a 1/2t dodge accelerates.

Especially a 318/360 in half ton doodge. Makes a stock 12v look quick.

Can't complain about the fuel economy the diesel v6 gets though.

All its for is fuel economy. It's the torque that makes it feel like that. His 90s truck didn't have near as much.

I literally have nothing bad to say about mine yet. Very quick off the line to 60mph. Very good mileage, very comfortable ride. Exceptional interior. And with Kory, Ryan, and others working on tuning, I forsee it easily being a 13second vehicle with very minor bolt ons.

Id sure like to have one... Drove them a couple times, i didnt think it was quick by an means but more than quick enough for daily driving.
