For everyone with Copilot issues. Do not use with a modified valve body. STOCKERS only. Shift kits do not get along with the copilot if you modify your INTERNAL VALVING.
My transgo valves and and Co-pilot get along just fine.
Well guess I am going to take my co-pilot off and throw it away.
ATS put new valves in mine along with the co-pilot. Bangs gears great.
just wondering, cant live just be used to control the convertor lock. thats all the co-pilot does right? if live can do this plus anything else you really ever need. why not just not mess wiht the co-pilot and get efi live
The copilot unlocks the gain valves by restricting pressure in the reverse pipe. This is how ATS gets their increased pressure. Now top that off with the Transgo trim valves which is how the rest of us increase pressure, the ramp up gets too lively and can bring on a clutch too fast before the off going clutch releases.
You can eliminate drilling the seperator plate holes as per Transgo's instructions which will take a lot of the effect away from the valves and help this tie up situation.
Other things can be done internaly to help remedy this but that's another story.
What should be changed Mike?
Well guess I am going to take my co-pilot off and throw it away.
Happy now???
Please tell me you are...
I don't feel lumping me in with this clown was needed Chris. I don't go around saying you hang out with Wade Moody do I? No, because that is mean and I am not a mean person.
But, yes I am happy...I never wasn't happy.
