Today i noticed when changing a trans cooler line on my 05 6.0 gasser when i removed the air box that it has, for lack of a better word, "snorkels" that go into the two holes in the fender to completely seal the box off from the engine compartment, where as my Dmax airbox just has a big square hole in it that pulls air from the entire engine bay and the bottom hole in the fender has a piece of dynamat type material from the factory covering it Would it be better to cut out the bottom hole have the other airbox for lower IAT's or are they too restrictive? Or possibly the snorkel style airbox with the face cut out?
