I got a call from a gentleman from South Carolina abut his mothers truck located in Willow Springs, Missouri. The truck quit running & the had it towed to a dealer. Dealer says it sheared the crank pin but I think the cam pin maybe also based on his description. Remember I'm in Florida so I'm not looking at it. Dealer is talking about pulling the trans, dropping the oil pan to look. I hate to see anybody deal with a dealer especially when the dealer told them this does not happen...:roflmao: Anybody close that can help/recommend somebody? I talked with him about Empires crank pin kit & he told me he had already talked to Guy about a balancer today.
Thanks,
Todd

The crank pin kit will only fix the balancer; it will do nothing for the gear drive/reluctor wheel. What did he say to make you think the cam pin was sheared?

I'm not there I'm just guessing and the dealer wants to seperate the trans and then back cover from the motor. We are probably only getting part of the story as I have not talked to the dealer.
