Leveled the front for my new tires a few months ago now trying to get to the extenders for my shocks. Do you see any reason why you could not build your own and run them on top? Maybe even weld to the bottom and do it from there. Im sure someone has had to do this by now. Seems easy enough to save almost $100. Only thing Im wondering is the length of top bolts. Im raised prolly two inches if that up front. Im guessing 1.5-2" spacer.

Thoughts?

Ok I see how they are using what looks like "pucks" on top mounts. What are the physical heights of these? What are DIY guys using in material? Guess I could just order them...lol.

The rough county kits I've installed use a 3/8" tall spacer a little bigger than the stud itself

No. Your wheel travels at a faster rate then your shock absorber. The further from the pivot point you are the great the movement.

So 2" of lift may only equate to half an inch of shock absorber movement. Make sense?

Yeah, that's not how it works, lol. It's all about angles and geometry.

It's all about leverage BB.

2" lift needs a 1" shock extender unless there is still some shock shaft left at full droop in stock config, then you can get away with a smaller spacer. I have not had the chance to mess with a lml to know for sure
