Here's the equivalent of kiddy-porn for Dmax'rs.

This is the boosted air side after the EGR on a LBZ, so no more than 4 years of operation.

Anyone who doesn't run a blocker plate is going to look like this. I was taking quick pics with a cellphone so they don't do justice to the grimy buildup. Some of it is 1/2" thick with no exaggeration.

it takes about 5 minutes to install it? yours is probably worse than the LBZ Pat posted and the worst part is all of the shit is stuck in the heads.

Yepp and its gonna be absolutely nasty if you have a smokey truck... Man I wish there was a way to clean that stuff off without taking everything apart

there is? its called Water/Meth injection... it will basically steam clean your engine. I have contemplated doing it, not for HP or EGT's just to clean my heads

How long do you think it would take for it to come clean?

IF, it is as dirty as pictured above.

:eek::eek:

My LBZ was like that too, cleaned all that nasty stuff out and deleted the egr and re-routed the pcv. Hopefully the rest will clean out over time.

i have never seen a before and after tutorial shown so i would not know... i would assume awhile considering how thick that crap is. im sure you would see a drastic reduction after the first 10,000 miles but i have no scientific evidence to back that claim up. Im sure some guys that actually run Water/Meth might be able to tell you their real world experiences

Holy crap!!!
That'S gotta be robbing hp
when you delete the egr your left with those holes, so you need up pipes, the tube that goes from the IC to the bridge (does it need to be replaced?) when you remove the egr completly is there other things that have to be adressed???
