alright guru's need some help here.

I am doing a set of injectors on an lb7, well i'm really only replacing one injector....

The #4 was acting funny, balance rate was pretty high and the owner was complaining of low power, well after I pulled the lines off I immediately realized the injector inlet holes where the line connects is basically plugged on several injectors with something that resembles rust/dirt.

the balance rates on the injectors were pretty decen't +/- 1 on all except #4.

What's the best method of cleaning this off without knocking crap into the injector, and killing them?

noted, but trans fluid in the tank wont help now. This crap is packed on there pretty good, looks like he's been neglecting his filter changes....

well when I ask how to clean it, telling me how to prevent it on a vehicle that isn't mine, doesn't really help...

I dont remeber for sure but I think Merchant has a video on getting it out. I have taken them and turned them over and tapped the inlet on a bench top and it came out.

Theres some kind of carbon cleaner my partner uses from Yamaha he put some lb7 injectors in a small plastic bucket and the injector tips were like brand new and a few were caked on carbon. Its real strong stuff.I can get the name of it if your interested.
